van Berlo
As a kid, Kay watched his father racing behind the fences and soon wanted to sit behind a steering wheel himself. At the age of eight, Kay made his karting début and won several national titles in different divisions where his talent was immediately noticeable. After a successful career in karting, racing European and World championships, kay stepped up to racecars.
In 2018, he made his début in motorsport, racing the European Le Mans series with Eurointernational in LMP3 class. After reaching the top step of the podium at Road to Le Mans and the 4 Hours of Monza, Kay signed a deal with United Autosports for the Asian Le Mans series, ultimately winning the 4 Hours of Fuji. In 2019, Kay took part in several races of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and won his début race at Zandvoort. In 2020, he continued racing Porsche in the Carrera Cup Germany with Huber Racing.
This year, Kay will be racing the Porsche Carrera Cup North America with Kelly-Moss racing. In addition to his racing program, Kay is working on his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Miami and strives towards excellence in racing as well as academically.
